Ingredients:
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg, ground
- 1/16 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Cloves, ground
- 8 ounces Water, filtered
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
- 1/16 teaspoon Allspice, ground
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 tablespoons Butter, unsalted
- 2 tablespoons Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener, Golden
- 3 ounces Rum
Directions:
Ingredient Notes: We suggest freshly ground nutmeg and a dark rum for this recipe.
- In a small sauce pan, combine the water, butter, sweetener, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and pinch salt. Place over medium heat and bring to a simmer.
- Remove from heat and stir in the rum and vanilla. Top with a pinch of allspice. Divide evenly between two mugs and enjoy!
